Journal #32

1. Describe a memorable experience.

My memorable learning experience was when I learned how to make the almost "perfect" video. It was hard for me because even though I had done media in middle school, I had to come into high school and make it better than I have ever done. Not only that, but I had to learn a new editing program called, Final Cut Pro. I had to edit and film to the best quality and make everything into excellent work. There had to be good sound, lighting, and still shots; meaning the camera is not shakey. I always had to make sure the editing was clean, and that there were no jump cuts.

2. What is your vision for the ideal school?

My vision for the ideal school is a school where there is good education and the school would be very safe. The ideal school would have many different clubs and programs for students based on different careers. This school would always serve healthy foods for good diets. It would teach the students everything about the real world; to help them survive on their own. Sports would also be part of the programs because a professional sports player is also a career. These things would be an addition to what we already have currently.

3. What do you think you need to learn and how?

I think that I need to learn more about managing money and about taxes because when I graduate, that would be part of my life. I also need to learn about the different kinds of jobs and life skills; also, communication skills. I would learn these things by asking questions and practicing these activities.

Journal #31: My Passion

My passion is seeking new things everyday and to just make new friends as I continue my journey through life. My passion is expressing myself in positive ways and just talking to others about many things. I also like to listen to music everyday and I like to every active and exercise everyday, that's why i play sports. But I only play soccer and run track.  My experiences with passion are when I do all these things, it makes me feel better as a person and it makes my insides "smile." I have been making new friends a lot and being able to introduce myself without being shy is what keeps me going. Being happy keeps me going throughout the day and making new friends makes me know that I will always have someone there for me. I would like this to keep going throughout the rest of my life because I really don't want to be the kind of person that has a daily routine and does the same things every single day. I would like to stretch my knowledge, skills, experiences, and impact with or through this passion by growing and becoming more and more positive everyday. Just grow more skills to become more friendly and gain more skills to have the abilities to do these things.
